?? Kwami Foundation Bursary Programme

Supporting Future Graduates in BCom, BSc, and BA Degrees

The Kwami Foundation Bursary Programme is committed to empowering South Africa’s next generation of leaders by providing financial support to eligible undergraduate students pursuing studies in:

  • Bachelor of Commerce (BCom)
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc)
  • Bachelor of Arts (BA)

This bursary is specifically for students beginning their first year of university studies in 2026.

? Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the bursary, applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be currently in Grade 12 (Matric) or have completed Grade 12 and plan to start university in 2026
  • Intend to register for full-time undergraduate studies in BCom, BSc, or BA at a public South African university
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Show strong academic performance and a commitment to completing their degree
  • Not be a current recipient of another full bursary

?? Application Requirements

Applicants must submit:

  1. A completed Kwami Foundation Bursary Application Form (available on our website)
  2. A certified copy of your ID
  3. Certified copies of your Grade 11 final results and latest Grade 12 results
  4. A motivational letter (300–500 words) explaining your goals, background, and why you need financial assistance
  5. Proof of university application or provisional acceptance (if available)

  • Opening Date: 1 August 2025
  • Closing Date: 31 August 2025
  • Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by January 2026 for interviews and further assessments.
